Angela Moore is the founder of Modern Money Education.  Angela is a passionate, outspoken financial literacy activist and has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry.  Angela currently serves as an Executive Board Member of the Financial Planning Association of Miami and is a member of the XY Planning Network and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. Angela was honored by Brickell Magazine as one of Miami’s Top 20 Professionals Under 40 in 2018.

Angela is also a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor^TM, Certified Financial Education Instructor and Master Planner Advanced Studies certificant. She holds a Masters degree in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning and a Bachelors in Business Administration from Howard University with a concentration in Accounting where she graduated Cum Laude.

Angela loves empowering others. In her free time, she loves baking cakes and cooking.  Angela is married with a daughter and two doberman.

Arielle Minicozzi, CFP®, CSLP®, has a passion for helping individuals and families achieve financial stability and for helping other advisors serve more clients. In addition to her role at Modern Money Advisor Financial Planning, Arielle owns and operates Sphynx, a consulting firm that helps other financial advisors systematize their businesses and implement technology solutions.

Arielle’s journey toward the financial planning profession was not straightforward. She was an art major in college, then joined a major bank as an intern in their mortgage division. She realized she would be able to assist people in making what would perhaps be the most important purchase of their lives, and decided to stay on for nearly six years.

During her tenure as a loan officer, Arielle discovered the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ curriculum and began her studies at Farleigh Dickinson University. She obtained her marks in July 2016.

In October 2017, she made the bittersweet decision to leave the mortgage industry and launch her own RIA, Sphynx Financial Planning. Her mission was to help millennials achieve financial stability and sustainable homeownership skills. It was around this time that Arielle and Angela met through the XY Planning Network and quickly became friends.

While setting up Sphynx, Arielle realized other advisors could benefit from the same systems and tools she was using and began consulting other firms. In late 2018 Arielle and Angela decided to merge their practices to make use of their complementary skill sets.

Arielle has been quoted as a subject matter expert on home buying in several publications, including US News and World Report, LendingTree.com, Chime, and others. She conducts educational webinars for other advisors and has done non-profit work for various homeownership organizations as well as her local animal shelter.

In her free time, Arielle enjoys hiking with her husband, Mark, reading, and spending time with her cat, Nigel Sphynx-Barry.

Initially we created the Money Mastermind as a safe space for women to learn about money fundamentals with other like-minded women. We tailored it to serve those who have never been able to access personal financial knowledge. Our first group truly surprised us; many of the women who joined already had the basic knowledge they needed, but either didn’t have the accountability factor within their current friend group, or felt like they needed to refresh and reset to get back on track. It turns out sometimes even the most educated and successful people need to go back to the basics. 

Our first group’s success absolutely astounded us. WIth every subsequent group we strive to make the mastermind more valuable for the attendees. Every group has been absolutely unique, but one common theme is always present - these are BOSS women who want to make a change in their financial lives; and they are.
